POLO CLUB ASCONA will be launched from 02 – 04 September 2022
It's that time of the year again, the team of the POLO CLUB ASCONA is already preparing for the upcoming ASCONA POLO CUP '22. Every year, the organizer is pleased to invite you to this exclusive event. The glamour and style of Ascona is known worldwide.
The event, which is now taking place in Ascona for the twelfth time, from 2 to 4 September 2022, invites you again this year with a breathtaking programme, the chosen theme this year is "Circus". After a two-year break, everyone is already looking forward to the date. Together with the Teatro Dimitri, we will have various performances that artistically accompany the fast-paced polo matches.
Six teams with over 80 horses will compete in the arena of the former Ascona airfield, which includes a packed three-day program that combines sporting and glamorous moments. Admission to the site is free, but a few tickets are still available for the VIP area. For more information, please contact the organization by email info@poloclubascona.ch.
With its own polo club, the picturesque village, located directly on the lake, has now gained another highlight. A few special key points of the event have already been determined. The participants are looking forward to a mounted parade through the old town of Ascona and Lungo Lago, accompanied by Porsche Ticino & Co. But that's not all, because the participants will also be enchanted in the evening and after the cup.

Thanks to the trust you have placed in the Ascona Polo Cup, the committee has the opportunity to once again put on a glamorous and unforgettable event for all those who want to be there. The success of the past events is a further incentive to become even better and to surprise and inspire the guests of an event that underlines year after year with its "reinvention".
Founded in December 2009 by Margit Sauer, Marco Styger and Uwe Zimmermann, they were invited to the first tournament in July 2010. The POLO CLUB ASCONA is the only polo club in southern Switzerland and Ticino. The former fishing village and later spa town is located on the northern shore of Lake Maggiore. Neighboring municipalities are Locarno, Losone, Ronco sopra Ascona, Brissago, Centovalli. Ascona is the lowest village in Switzerland, as the village centre is located directly on the lake.
The event is of course supported by the municipality of Ascona and the tourism organisation "Ascona-Locarno". During the event, as every year, a raffle and a charity auction will be organized, the proceeds of which will benefit a local children's foundation.

IL POLO CLUB ASCONA si terrà dal 02 al 04 settembre 2022
È di nuovo quel momento dell'anno, il team del POLO CLUB ASCONA si sta già preparando per il prossimo ASCONA POLO CUP '22. Il glamour e lo stile di Ascona sono conosciuti in tutto il mondo.
L'evento, che si tiene ad Ascona per la dodicesima volta, si svolgerà dal 2 al 4 settembre 2022 e quest'anno offrirà un programma mozzafiato, il tema scelto quest'anno è «Circo». Dopo una pausa di due anni, tutti non vedono l'ora che arrivi la data. Insieme al Teatro Dimitri avremo diverse esibizioni che accompagneranno artisticamente le veloci partite di polo.
Sei squadre, con oltre 80 cavalli, si sfideranno nell'arena dell'ex aeroporto di Ascona, in un fitto programma di tre giorni che combina momenti sportivi e glamour. Con il proprio Polo Club, il pittoresco villaggio situato direttamente sul lago ha ora ottenuto un ulteriore punto di splendore. Già ora sono stati definiti alcuni punti salienti dell'evento. I partecipanti sono entusiasti di una parata a cavallo attraverso il centro storico di Ascona e il Lungo Lago, accompagnati da Porsche Ticino & Co. Ma non è tutto, perché anche la sera e dopo il torneo i partecipanti saranno incantati.

Fondato nel dicembre 2009 da Margit Sauer, Marco Styger e Uwe Zimmermann, il primo torneo è stato organizzato nel luglio 2010. Il POLO CLUB ASCONA è l’unico polo club della Svizzera meridionale e del Ticino. L'ex villaggio di pescatori e successivamente località termale si trova sulla sponda nord del Lago Maggiore. I comuni vicini sono Locarno, Losone, Ronco sopra Ascona, Brissago e Centovalli. Ascona è la località più bassa della Svizzera, poiché il centro del villaggio si trova direttamente sul lago.
L'evento è naturalmente supportato dal comune di Ascona e dall'organizzazione turistica "Ascona-Locarno". Durante l'evento, come ogni anno, saranno organizzate una lotteria e un'asta di beneficenza, il cui ricavato sarà devoluto a una fondazione per bambini locale.
