We spoke with her about style, hospitality, and the special connection between the location and the club. ### Elegance, energy, and special encounters > «When I think of Polo Club Ascona, I think first and foremost of elegance, energy, and special encounters. In my mind's eye, I see the horses on the field, the mountains in the background, and an atmosphere that combines the dynamics of sport with Ascona's understated elegance. For me, the Polo Club is a place where style, passion, and hospitality come together naturally.» ### What the club gives to the region > «For the entire region, the Polo Club provides extra prestige and visibility. It unites sport, social life, tourism, and international openness. What cannot be expressed in numbers is the atmosphere: people meet, share special moments, and discover Ascona from a different, cheerful, and sociable perspective. The club creates a sense of belonging, inspiration, and a quality of life that extends far beyond the duration of the event itself.» ### Ascona and the club: the same kind of elegance > «Ascona is in itself an extraordinary place – the lake, the mountains, its understated elegance. What connects this place to the club is that same special kind of elegance: cultured, international, and at the same time pleasantly discreet. The landscape offers a unique backdrop, while the club brings dynamism and social liveliness; a particularly beautiful example is the procession of horses and players across the Piazza in Ascona with the lake as a backdrop.»
